Hi everyone, I have been have weird neurological symptoms since 2017 and I just cant help think it is ms. Just to give you a recap. 2017 - I had burning scalp and hairloss which lasted about a year or so. 2018 - eye spasm and electric arm pain that lasted about 3 months. 2019 - left quad shooting pain that still persist. Finally most current for the last 7 weeks been getting facial pain which to me feels like nerve pain. Its comes and goes, the pain is felt near the temples, nose, eyes and teeth and is on both sides of the face but not at the same time. I have been to the doctors who have said it could be sinus related but I dont seem to show any signs of sinusitis. I have also been to the dentist and opticians who have said have no issues. I have been given antibiotics by my doctors and currently taking these. I had an mri of the brain and cervical spine last year march 2019 and it was clear, I had this done privately through a neurologist. He did stress that it would be clear and he has no concerns. Since I last saw him I have had a few more symptoms whih includes facial pain and leg pain. Does this sound like it could be ms or these just independent issues? I am extremely anxious and worry all the time about everything. Should I go private again and have more tests?
Oh dear, no wonder you are concerned.
MRIs often come back clear, but problems persist.
Going private again is going to be very costly. Do you have health insurance that will pay?
I did wonder if all the head pain might be neuralgia?
But that wouldnt explain your leg pain?
It is good that both your dentist and optician see no problems.
A difficult one to answer I`m afraid.
