I will add, if you have been waiting for results / appointments for considerable time, chase them. If you are dissatisfied with those responsible for your care, change them.

Totally agree, the wait and see approach is fine if you don’t have to live with the consequences of a delayed diagnosis. You should not need to be rude but sometimes it feels like the only way to get heard.

There is a world of difference between being rude and assertive. Its a partnership and patients need to take an active role.
