Fatigue

Hello everyone , a quick question and hopefully someone will be able to help

I am always suffering with extreme fatigue especially late afternoon early evening , Im no dx and not sure whether

or not if this is a symptom of MS ? is it worth mentioning to my Neuro?

Thanks Andy

Hello Andy,

Yes it is worth mentioning as fatigue is a major player in ms, I find around 2.30 - 3.00 pm I’m completely zonked and end up having a sleep for abour a hour, sometimes more and I have been dx. I find when it hits me I have to have a rest. Wishing you the very best. Hope this helps.

Hi Andy

Yes you need to mention it if it’s affecting your quality of life! Fatigue is a symptom of MS but also of other illnesses.

I experienced it really bad earlier this year with other symptoms getting much worse - it was bad enough that I had to go off on sick leave and was literally house bound for 4 months. It was so bad I was sleeping up to an extra 6 hours during the day!

One thing it taught me was that there is a big difference between real ‘fatigue’ and ‘tiredness’ - it’s debilitating!!

Hope you get help with it soon xxxxjenxxxxxx
