Please can you tell me how to remove ALL messages from my inbox ?
I’ve selected each one, clicked on the little spanner/tool thingy, clicked on “Delete Topics” but the messages dont delete ?
UPDATE:
I’ve also tried to put all messages into the “archive” folder and delete from there, but all this does is make a copy of all the messages in the archive folder ?
So now I have messages that I do not require any longer in my inbox and a copy in my archive folder.
Some of these message go back 4 years ago and are no longer needed.
Another thing I cant work out is that I had already deleted them from the my old forum account inbox so why have they now risen from the ashes ??

If you go to your messages - at the top there should be an icon like the one circled below. If you click this, it will give you an option to select all, or select individually, you can then click the messages which you’d like to delete and once selected - simply click the spanner icon on the right of the page and ‘delete topics’ this should remove these. Thats exactly how I’ve been trying to delete the messages, but as already mentioned when i click to select all and then click the little spanner icon, then “delete topics”, they dont delete ?
I’ve even tried moving the messages into the archive folder and deleting from thee but they still dont delete ?
@jactac I have tested this and it seems to work ok for me. What happens when you click the delete topics option, does it delete any or none at all? If none at all, can you try deleting your web cache and browser history, and then logging back in to try again? Failing that, I will need to log this with our Web Team to look in to further. I’ve just tried deleting again but when I select a message or messages, the little spanner icon shows up but when I click on the spanner the option to “delete topic” has now disappeared ?
Please can a Mod confirm that my issue is being looked into ?
I’ve not heard anything back on this thread or via the emails that I’ve sent ??
