No hope of fampridine for us in the South West

Google “fampridine decision peninsula” for 2 page simple report. (don’t know how to provide the link here)

It seems a double whammy when benefits are apparent within 14 days and the manufacturer will provide the first 28 days treatment free.

Anyone out there had the opportunity to try this in a different area of the UK?

My NHS Trust has yet to reach a decision, I believe it may take some time…

I haven’t tried to get fampridine for myself but my friend has been on it for a month now and she got it through Derriford Hospital, Plymouth. I know she received it free for this first month but will have to pay for it herself in future. It does seem to be working for her.
