Edge of a cliff

Anyone else feel like they’re standing on the edge of a cliff waiting for this terrible condition to take everything away. Currently I’m still fairly mobile but have noticed the tremors in my left leg getting worse. I have an exercise bike which I use 3 times a week, I also have one of the little step ones but felt it didn’t give me a full range of movement being 6ft 2.
I’m battling on and trying to keep this condition at bay but I can’t shake the feeling that despite my best efforts, the MS is just waiting to take it’s revenge.

Hi ‘macca’. Not standing on a cliff edge so much as a long gradual slope down but I know what you mean. For my part I don’t do enough exercise but I do follow a good diet and try to meditate/ do mindfulness sessions each day. In general the website of Overcoming MS - living well with MS has been my guide.

I also find myself in the weird situation where , at 71 and some of my ex work colleagues having died in their mid to late 70s , or having other significant health problems I find myself thinking along the lines of ‘oh well, could be worse. Always look on the bright side of life etc’

Hi Macca: I was officially dx’d in early 2013, but had symptoms in earnest since 2006, didn’t see GP until Jan 2013 as my wife is an orthopaedic surgeon and just arranged private scans and physio instead.
So, c.19 years later I’m still hobbling along and managing to work part-time, so just hang in there. Take pleasure in people and ideas, or things that don’t require travel or physical exertion.
Do NOT spend time around people who always tell you how ‘busy’ they are.
