Hi everyone, so for long enough I’ve had a lack of feeling in this area, but in the last few months I’m experiencing extreme sensitivity in this area, I mean sitting/laying down is very uncomfy, wearing underwear is the same, my uretha is the size of a golf ball and red, now I have had some uti’s in the last couple of weeks, but have been on antibiotics for this, but these feelings aren’t going away, so has anyone experienced this and has it been comfirmed as nerve pain.
Thanks Jean
Hi Jean
By the sounds of it you have urethritis. It’s a trip to the gp I’m afraid.
so thank you for your reply, I just googled this and I’m not so sure, if this is transmitted through sex, then I’m afraid me and my hubby don’t par take anymore due to how MS effects me. I’ve recently had Botox injected into my bladder and it started after this, I self catheter anyway and have been having Botox for over 3yrs, its not only my uretha, but my intimate area is very sensitive too.
Thanks Jean
Oh as i understood it sometimes you can get it without sex. I don’t have any experience with botox so no idea what it can do.
Hope someone else can help further.

Thank you for your reply, I did read after your last reply that yes you can get it without having sex, so I intend to ring my GP next week.

Hi Jean.I have had several episodes of this pain. It feels like the ms hug but in my lady bits…very painful but doesnt last too long, I can go months between an attack. My neurologist didnt seem too concerned about it so i take pain relief and ride it out…usually lasts 15 mins to half an hour. Karen.
Hi Karen and thank you for your reply, I’ve had this continually for over 3 wks and its driving me mad, so uncomfortable, I’ve decided now to get a face to face with my GP and see what she has to say and then if nothing there I’ll get intouch with my MS nurse, so watch this space, thanks again.
