Hi all I have posted once before but got no replies! Not moaning but need advice. Things are going down hill so fast it’s scary! Had a lot of pain in my hip and leg (amongst other places) but now I can hardly walk. Is it possible for things to deteriorate so quickly. Any comments would be gratefully accepted. Thanks x
Hi, sorry you didnt get any replies to your last post. I try to read the boards most days and if I see a new post without answers, I worry that person may slide away and suffer in silence, so I jump in to offer support if I can.
Have you seen a neuro yet or been referrred?
My own progression from being full able to do whatever I wanted, to having serious mobiity problems, took around a year.
If you`ve not been investigated yet, as your GP for a referral to a neurologist.

Thanks so much for your reply,I have neuro appointment on march17 so hopefully get some help them . Even if it’s just a big mallet to knock me out with!
Hi Don’t know if your DX yet, but last April my problems started and I went seriously down hill over 4 months, but slowly improved over the last 6 months still having problems but never thought I would get back to how I am today. So hope you feel better soon Gray x
Thanks Gray it helps to know that others have similar problems. Not dx yet just started down that road, so still in freak out zone. I keep finding new things wrong everyday and sometimes think I must be imagining things. Horrible to think that there are so many people out there suffering
Hang in there Minton and hopefully your neuro will be able to help.

Hi,
Im in a similar position as yourself. I too am waiting on my first nuero appointment (13/03/14). Meanwhile my mobility is so bad I struggle to walk and its both scary and frustrating! With no diagnosis as yet I feel like I’m dealing with a crazy illness that I can do nothing about and can get no help until I see a neurologist! The waiting times are so long and meanwhile I have to try and continue living with the unknown. I hope you get answers soon. Good luck with the neuro!
