@PaulMcGaw, I’m sorry to hear this, massively frustrating and nonsensical.
Glad you thoroughly investigated everything and tried every avenue, but doesn’t feel fair at all that you didn’t get compensation. Really respect your perseverance (especially at what must be an incredibly tough time already) as well as raising awareness, but so sorry about the unsuccessful outcome - you’re not alone and so many others seem to have been tripped up by fiddly wording or really unreasonable policies.

So you don’t get caught like me, use the phrase if you have had MS symptoms in the past it is best to say not to the best to the best of my knowledge. It is not a lie as you didn’t have a magic crystal ball to look into the future.
