Could my issues actually be MS?

Hi all,

I have a lot of different things wrong with me and I’ve always felt that there might be something bigger going on behind the scenes, causing it all. I’ve come across the idea of MS, because it seems to tick all the boxes. I have a 20 year history of autoimmune issues, which may be relevant.

I’ll list my issues in the hope that someone with more insight into MS can tell me whether I’m on the right track. I’ve obviously consulted Dr Google, but I was hoping to get an opinion from anyone with lived experience of MS/early stages of, to work out if I’m on the right track…

  • 6 years of intermittent tingling/pins & needles/buzzing in arms/hands/legs/feet.
  • Awful brain fog, difficulty finding words and being unable to concentrate for any length of time. I feel mentally slower than I used to.
  • Twitching, leading to a dx of benign fasciculation syndrome.
  • Pain, mostly in ribs, leading to a dx of fibromyalgia. I’m not sure about this dx as the pain is localised and not widespread. I also get the occasional intense crushing sensation around my ribs that I can barely breathe through, which comes in waves for a few minutes. It’s utterly terrifying but not heart related.
  • Raynaud’s syndrome, mainly in fingers.
  • Dx of post Covid fatigue, specifically with arm weakness/fatigue.
  • Post Covid POTS.
  • Feeling a little unsteady/unable to focus when I turn my head quickly.
  • Recent issues with sharp stabbing pains in my lower jaw on both sides, but only ever one side at a time. I think this might be trigeminal neuralgia.
  • Wobbly/shaky eyes when I try to focus - not twitching, for the past year. V intermittent though.

I feel worse when I’m either too hot or too cold, too hot especially though.

Blood tests are all ok.

When I write that all out, I can’t believe no-one is looking for something causing it all. Other than me of course! It feels like a lot going on, for late 30s, without a significant dx to explain it.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks
