could I have ms aswell?

Hi moyna  thanks I don’t know if I had all lupus tests or not but I’ll talk to my doctor about it. It’s gonna be along wait and I know I’ve got to be patient which is hard! But there’s other people out there alot more urgent than I am I just wish I had asked the neurologist questions instead of staying quiet and now im in annoyance with myself and the waiting. It baffles me too how sometimes for weeks I can feel so out of sorts lots of weird syptoms and then I just feel fatigued other times, pins and needles consistent at mo though for 3 months now, and cant figure that one out I’ve had odd day when necks been bit stiff but no pain so don’t think it’s trapped nerve. Thanks

Tracie,

Firstly, I am really sorry you are feeling so ill at the moment. Secondly, and it may sound an odd question, but are you having joint pain too and are your joints quite bendy ? I only ask because I am having symptoms that are remarkably similar to yours and have recently been diagnosed with Hypermobility Syndrome (also known as Ehlers-Danlos Hyermobility type) It is a genetic condition that means your body produces faulty collagen and is linked to: chronic pain, stiffness, fatigue etc. It is also linked to digestive conditions such as chrons and to pots (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) which could explain your dizziness. You may benefit from seeing a rheumatologist as well as a neurologist. I am by no means a medical expert and am not trying to throw a spanner in the works, or confuse you, it’s just that your symptoms do sound very similar to mine. However, as Karen always very rightly says, there are hundreds of things it could be that are not ms and that can be rectified.

Hope you get a definitive answer soon,

Rae xx

Hi Rae  , yes I do get joint pain bending in my hips and knees going upstairs and bending which makes me shake while trying to bend down. Maybe it cud be hypermobility, I will talk to my doctor again. Thanks
