Just a wee question folk.
I was wondering do any of you self catheterise before bed.
I am now up at least 7 times per night so I was wondering is this a possibility?

Least you can wake up in time. Once maybe but 7 times is way to frequent.
It’s the most imprtant time for me to Catheterise otherwise I don’t wake until after I’ve wet the bed. Urgency and lack of sensation suck. I routinely cut fluids out 1.5-2 hours before I intend to Cath to ensure maximum fluid has made it to the bladder before I Cath. No point draining if it’s just gonna over fill in the night 
Contact your MS Nurses or asked GP to refer you to a Urologist…think it’s Urologist, been years since I saw one and started Self Catherising
Hi, I self catheter all the time now, as I as peeing so much, 18 times in a 24hr, about 4 times in the night, I now have botox injected into the bladder every 6 mths, this has made life so much better, but even though I do a catheter before bed, I’m still up twice, but better than it was before. Have a chat with your ms nurse, if you have 1, good luck.

Thank myou all so much for your kind replies again.
Contacted my ms nurse today and they will refer me to urology as 4 infections since april is a lot she said as I never had urine infection before.
Urine infection has now settled so just the chest to clear now, so hopefully these antibiotics will do the trick.
Just a rough wee patch but onwards and upwards and I will keep going xx
