One of my oldest friends has recently been diagnosed with MS. It’s clearly progressing - numb limbs, pain. He works full time, mostly remotely. We don’t live close to one another and most of the support is on the emotional side by text and phone. I’m worried about what’s next because he lives alone and doesn’t have family or a partner to be a carer. What happens in this situation as clearly it’s getting worse? What are the options for support? Also, what can I do to help him?
