Burning, burning like acid through my nerves. Running down my right hand side and never goes away. The drugs don’t help, they make me tired, but the pain is so intense I can’t get to sleep. My body and mind is totally exhausted.
I just want a good day when these pains will go away.
Praying for a good day and a drug to ease the pain. I’m not the person I used to be. I want my life back but I know it will never be.
MS is a life destroying disease. Let’s hope they find a cure.

Hi, I can relate to this, it’s never ending and exhausting, I used to take Gabepentin, it stopped working, tried Pregabalin, didn’t suit me, so now rely on cold blanket and cold pads, they help a little, but overall the pain is none stop, sometimes it turns into extreme cold, like I’m in a freezer, ice cold water running through my nerves and veins, this condition is certainly a challenge. Keep your chin up, its all we can do, because I don’t see a cure for a good while, but I’m praying I’m wrong.

Hi. I’m on Gabapentin 300mg 6 times a day and Clonazipan twice a day, plus antidepressants.
Heat sometimes helps me but cold definitely doesn’t.
We’ve just got to keep fighting it.

I was already talking amitriptelene for sciatica and when I told my consultant about the vet painful stabbing pins and needles in my leg he increased my amitriptele and now the pain has gone, the tingling still comes and goes but I can cope with that.
Maybe ask your ms nurse!! X
Hi. I can’t take that drug due to epilepsy. Even though I’ve not had any attacks since 2006, I am still on medication for it.
I just need some kind of relief. So tired due to lack of sleep due to pain.
Hoping for a good day but it looks like I don’t have relapsing MS. It’s there all the time.
