My Neurologist wants to check me for any activity (I have RRMS) he only wants to do a brains scan not my spine. Is activity shown up via a brain MRI ? I ask because my main lesions are in my spine and it’s my fatigue and lack of leg strength that is getting worse. Any advise would be appreciated.

Would have thought that if current lesions spinal neuro would want brain plus spinal MRI but I maybe wrong. Can you query with them?

I thought the same as you Jane. I asked my MS nurse to query it with my MS Dr and she came back saying he only needs t do the brain to look for recent activity which is why I wondered if anyone knew more about this than I.
Jane, I had a call from my MS nurse today saying she had spoken again to the consultant suggesting they include a spinal scan along with the brain as I had wanted and he agreed so all worked out in the end.
