Brain function issues

Hi everyone

I know that a lot of us MSers have cognitive issues, I certainly have and some days they really get in the way of my work. Well that’s how it feels anyway, I know that I do have brain lesions but sometimes wonder if the knowing they are there also slows my thinking (if you get me lol!)

I was reading on one of the MS websites the other day about tests for brain function issues and I wondered if anyone here has had a test, if so did you have to ask for the test, and were you offered any treatment?

I had brain function tests and it felt like a test for dementia!

some of the tests we have can be demoralising so keep it in perspective.

I was offered the test at Salford Royal.

I had tests for this my MS nurse arranged it. Slightly below average on a couple of things but nothing significant. It took a couple of hours and was quite tiring but I’m glad I did it, if nothing else there’s something to compare to if I need tests in the future.
