Hi
Just the morning my vision seems a bit blurred and possibly double vision. I wear glasses for distant/driving, tv. Usually I can read things one tor two feet away easily. But today I cannot.
Is this MS related?

Hello! Apart from fatigue my most common symptom is blurred and double vision- mine is the ms and caused ON which led to my Dx. I find fatigue, infections make it flare up. Kx
Yes it’s part of MS, it’s to do with the optical nerve. MS randomly affects all the nerve controlled aspects of your body and unfortunately that means pretty much all of you.
My blurred vision comes and goes, usualy only lasting an hour or two at a time. If I have a relapse it becomes more of a problem for longer periods but so far, it hasn’t stuck around indefinitely.
A good tip for computer users, Hold down CTRL and roll the scroll wheel on your mouse up slowly, this will zoom web pages and some document viewers making the text bigger on the screen but not bigger if you print it. This saves me having to squint or lean in on the monitor when my vision is blurry.
Hi, Yes it can be a part of MS but could also be for another reason, have you seen an optician, opthamologist or even spoken to your doctor. They would be able to tell you more.

Hi kosmic.
You said about your vision problems etc, by any chance are you taking amitryptiline as this does lead to blurry vision etc the morning after taking it at night, I was on 25mg and had to cut down to 10mg as this was turning me into a zombie for most of the next day.
Anyway, hope you get this sorted, goodluck. D
