I had my first injection last night which was a 1/4 dosage, I took pain killers and tried to sleep expecting fevers and flu type feelings. What I didn’t expect was the pain I felt. It felt like I was burning mainly in the leg areas where I have had problems before, especially in the leg where I did the injection but it seemed to spread and at one point I described it as feeling as though I was on fire. I kept regular doses of pain killers in but this was the worse pain. Today I have pain but no where near as bad.I haven’t had any temperature and feel totally deflated that this has happened. My ms nurse hasn’t heard of this and the only explanation is that it has made my symptoms worse. I’m due another injection tomorrow which she would like me to still do and I’m totally stressed out knowing that I have to do this when its making things worse. Has anyone experienced this as its not noted as a side effect. Thanks Zoe
Thanks, I didn’t find the injection painful it was about half an hr later my legs started hurting and this got worse as the night went on. I am still hurting now so have just been resting as it feels like everything is stinging. More pain relief needed I think.
