Benign Brain Tumour

Hi everyone,

Haven’t been around for a while - I came to the site for support back in August when I was really unwell with an array of symptoms that pointed to MS.

Well, after being put on a 6 month waiting list for the neuro despite my referral being urgent, my GP managed to get me a CT Head to try and rule out anything nasty. The result was that I have a benign meningioma.

I still haven’t been seen by the neuro but the appointment has been suddenly bought forward and I’m seeing them tomorrow - thank goodness. I’ve been in such a low mood and just want some answers.

Not sure what to expect tomorrow but have my list of questions at the ready.

Hope everyone is well and I’ll let you know how it all goes tomorrow

Good luck for tomorrow. Sam x

Good luck, I’ve had a similar scenario, and really feel for you. Try not to panic! The word to focus on is ‘benign’. Let us know how you get on xxx

How did the appoinment go?

Hope it was all ok. If you need the tumour removed, I want you to know that my mum had a big one removed over 20 years ago. No problems at all. Was up and walking next day. Complete 100% recovery and she’s still going strong at 85.

Let us know how it went,

Pat x

Hope your appointment went well x
