Hear, hear, anu. Wind it in anon.
Anu, I did kind of wonder if it was all to do with the [edited], all makes sense now…what a shame that member felt she was being bullied, People were only trying to help and in my opinion there were some good constructive replies. Just can’t understand the way some people percieve things… but heyho everyone’s different. Mind you i still think it’s unfair to say that the moderators are rubbish.
Please can we all ignore any comments from Anon and stop any replies to her.
She obviously likes to cause trouble and by replying to her we are fueling the fire.
It would be better to just put the poster at ease by giving a good reply to their post and neutralising the nasty jibes.
I have seen these incidents before on here - some much worse and the moderators will step in if need be.
Take care all
Best wishes

Unfortunately this board user appeared to perceive that she was being bullied when in fact people just didn’t agree with her views.
She then seems to have turned on the mods for not sanctioning people that didn’t agree with her.
MS can make us behave in ways that we wouldn’t naturally. Hopefully this user will have time to reflect and get the help she needs.
the anon button is a gud idea, it helps people with embarassing situations to get advice, removal of the anon button will stop some people from getting advice they need without having to be embarrassed in front of all there friends here
We could look at that differently. Someone is very scared and confused so you grilled them with questions. No wonder they were all over the place.
I just find it a nasty thing to do if someone is struggling with illness. I would hate to think a genuine poster who has been knocked for six has been scared away from a forum that is their for all ms sufferers.
Just my 2 cents

Actually I didn’t ask her any questions originally - she posted herself with different threads and each different thread contained different information and different facts. Both myself and Tina actually offered her help and advice and she sent horrible messages on the posts to both of us. So I would suggest in this instance you don’t actually know the facts and you weren’t following the threads at the time. Most of her threads were blocked as deleted quickly after due to the nature of them. So contrary to what you are saying I wasn’t nasty to her at all and I take great offence that you suggest that. If you had seen the posts that I had written then you would understand but you are making a sweeping statement bases on guesswork as opposed to facts!
I did not want to get dragged into this, but since my name has been mentioned - I didn’t actually feel Nazra had been “horrible” to me - slightly discourteous, perhaps, but I didn’t read malicious intent into it.
I do believe she was (is) a real person who is not dealing at all well with the prospect she may have MS. There may or may not have been some mental health issues - hence the tendency to attribute everything to bizarre and fantastical conspiracies by the Medical Profession - OR this might have been her instinctive coping tactic, because somehow it’s easier to believe you’re the victim of a massive racket in fake diagnoses, than to accept you really do have something seriously the matter with you…
Either way, it’s sad, but I don’t think she was a troll, or doing it on purpose. Every now and then we’ve had someone who is simply unable to accept their diagnosis (or probable diagnosis, as the case may be). Unfortunately, it does tend to result in them peddling the paranoid conspiracy theories (“You’ve all been misdiagnosed and can’t see it…”), which only alienates them from other users, instead of getting the support they so desperately need. ![]()

[/quote] Darren, you may not have seen a couple of posts made by Nazra as I reported them and they were removed very swiftly by the moderators. I never thought that I would feel so strongly about something enough to report it but she made a couple of replies to a person who had just been diagnosed with ms and was really struggling and upset. The first post actually told this new lady in no uncertain terms how she felt about what she had put in her post, basically that it made her want to be sick, and the second was making fun of a symptom which many people with ms suffer and it certainly isn’t funny. I know people react differently to diagnosis but to be fair Nazra thinks ms doesn’t exist anyway and it’s all in our heads!!!
MODERATOR COMMENT
A few people think they have identified the original anon. As more than one name has been mentioned or alluded to the least that can be said is that someone - if not all - is/are wrong.
To save anyone else coming up with fatuous ideas I am now going to close this thread.
