Lots of stiffness, cramps, aches and pains extreme tiredness etc etc - that I understand.
But why do I feel so crap all the time - as if I’ve got permanent flu - and it’s wearing me down. What if anything can I do to not feel permanently kna**ered.

Hi
There could be all sorts of things that are contributing, like an infection. Diet can make a big difference - I know lots of people swear by cutting out gluten (though others say it didn’t make any difference to them), but everybody I know or have read about who have at least cut out sugar, and sometimes massively cut down on carbs, have all said their energy levels are so much better.
Or, of course, it may simply be the MS. Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms. Amantanine and Modafinil can help some people, so might be worth speaking to your MS nurse.
Dan
I’ve been meditating twice a day for a year now and my stiffness has all but gone and my fatigue is a million times better. I swear by it. Vedic meditation is what I practice.
thanks for the replies.
I don’t think it’s a question of lack of energy, the energy is there but I feel too ill to do anything for much of the time.
Hiya might be worth getting your thyroid levels checked out at the Drs. I’m only saying this cos when my thyroid levels were low I was so so tired & generally just feeling crap, like I had the flu almost. My thyroid goes crazy every now and then but I can feel it when my levels are dropping, it’s horrible! I’d get your bloods done, just to see if your levels are alright
It must be tough being so ill all the time. Poor you.
See your MS nurse for a check up. Your meds may be wrong.
