Would you risk losing your colon for MS treatment?

Hi Alison

Got to be honest it’s strange feeling
I live with all women so I never win an argument :joy:
Can I ask if you’ve remained jcv negative all these years?

Well, you’ve won this one, so make the most of it.

So far on JCV, yes. If that changed I would still fight tooth and nail to try to on this drug.

Just come home to this wonderful news. I’m so, so pleased for you!
What do you think swayed them, in the end?
This is how it should work: the response to the potential colitis-threat from an anti-CD20 should never be to just put you on a lower efficacy DMT.
With any luck the natalizumb should be good for your MS and Crohns: send both of them packing.

I mentioned your experience, Dr Giovanonni reply’s, my personal experience with an aunt who relapsed and is now a wheelchair user , how it would affect my household if I had a bad relapse as the main bread winner , I attached a few documents which prove earlier intervention with higher dmts prove better prognosis,
The reply was based more along of the lines of it will help ms & crohns , they were still dismissive of anti cd20 , also the fact I came back as jcv negative must have been a big influence

Good news! ( I’m guessing that it might have been your query that popped up on Gavin Giovanonni’s update?)
