I’ve been managing my MS symptoms by changing my activities as I am fortunate to be able to rest whenever I need to and symptoms are mostly niggly, sensitive and limiting rather than regularly painful. My MS nurse has suggested I might want to try gabapentin or baclofen but when I read the common symptoms of tiredness, dizziness, constipation, I wonder why I would want to risk those side effects when my MS is already responsible for tiredness, loss of balance etc. Because the drugs need to be weaned onto and then weaned off if they cause unacceptable side effects, I am scared of making my life harder for myself. Anyone had similar concerns? Thoughts? Advice? Thank you
