At the most I het hot flushes with Tecfidera but also have lot of indigestion and bloating which I think is caused by my pain medication Gabapentin. Thing to remember all drugs have side effects that will be different for different folk. If tecfidera reduces relapses and slows your MS small price to pay.
As I posted above (somewhere) back in 2017, I still get the rush of “gunk” run out of my nose when I bend my head forward to do certain things. Mainly when picking things up off the floor. The good news is I have had less relapses over the years and still have a brain (debatable though according to my wife)
I saw that Crafty Lady says that she has had a constant drippy or runny nose since starting Tecfidera. I’ve only been on it for a month but I now have a constantly drippy nose!
Been on Tec for 21 months or so. No side effects at all.
I have missed a few days of my Tecfidera because my pill sorter was missing.
Found it 30 minutes ago (fallen down back of sideboard), took one and the flush wasn’t just my face and neck but also my arms and legs!
who needs a sun bed!
It is like prickly heat rash so will be very careful with the pill sorter in future.
Yes. I have been on Tecfidera for one month. I was diagnosed with MS in 2011. I was on low dose naltrexone 2016-March 2022. So I started tecfidera one month ago and I have a constant runny nose in the mornings. Just clear water or thin clear mucus coming out of my nose. Also I noticed I am dizzier than normal and I’m having more trouble finding my words. I have not lost any hair which is great
, but not being able to find my words is disturbing to me so I will be discussing this with my doctor next month.
Im now 39 months into Tecfidera and no hair loss, runny nose, or anything else in fact. I had a few hot flushes back when i just started but that soon disappeared. Great medication in my experience.
