Hi Jules… no no no hon it will not stay!
With ppms, any trauma… sometimes something seemingly quite small… can really impact on your MS. And having major surgery is NOT something quite small.
With ppms, although progressive, it doesn’t mean that every time you get a new symptom it will hang about. Symptoms go up and down remarkably. One day I can hardly manage to walk from bed to bathroom… next day I can manage a short walk up my street.
I didn’t have my flu jab a few years ago and I got flu. I tell you Jules I was SO bloody ill. Could barely walk. Dizzy. Weak. Buzzy. Pain. It took me a few weeks to get over it and quite honestly a couple of months before I really got my strength back.
So give it time. Rest as much as you possibly can. If at all possible keep your Xmas as small and quiet as possible. It will take a while Jules but you will get back to where you were before.

Thank you Pat, thats a huge help!! I was really worried! And also I do get very confused as I do have some symptoms one day, then not the next, or something different the next, then original symptoms come back to day after… etc etc… it confuses me a lot!! Like I’ve said I’m not confirmed, but my neuro has said its either PPMS or HSP and I may never find out which one of the two I have… (my thoughts I think PPMS, as I have more symptoms than that warrants a HSP dx)
You make total sense re being ill with something else or having trauma of some sort. Thank you so much
xx
Yip! This will pass, take things easyM
