This sounds silly, but does anybody else see rainbows - just quick glimpses of them around the visual periphery, and amongst the grey clouds, when nobody else can see them? I actually love seeing them - real or not!
I told my optician about it, and also that I sometimes saw double images of the moon and stars - but that it varied a lot. She said that quite a lot of people see these things but don’t really take any notice of them. I admitted to her that I do, indeed spend a great deal of time looking at the sky.
