Hi just wondering if anyone else on avonex has pain in the muscle after their injection?..I do mine on a Monday and on a Wednesday night I have a really sore thigh where I’ve injected especially when walking it usually lasts till about the weekend!.. Emma x
Isnt that just from bruising of the muscle?.. my partner has this sometimes… no probs.
Yes probably just wondered if its normal cause its quite painful fond weeks worse than others maybe it depends where it goes in the muscle ?!
Guess it does depend where and how much muscle u have :D… swap legs each week for sure.
I’m on the Avonex Pen every Monday night as well. I get the same muscle pain you are talking about on a Wednesday as well. Hurts like Hell when climbing the stairs !!! Rob
Ha ha wot a coincidence…and yes the stairs are murder!..my house has 2 flights not good!..but as long as I can still climb them I won’t moan too much!!! Emma

I swapped to my sister injecting into my bum, no problems now!! My legs used to complain about being injecting into. My bum doesn’t complain at all!!
