I’ve had ME/CFS for 30 years but I’m currently experiencing a blast of symptoms all new and they all seem to fit with MS. I’m currently waiting to see a neurologist.
I’m just wondering if I’ve had ppms as well for many years without realising. And if this is a ppms relapse as I understand it they come very late in the disease is that correct?

You don’t get Relapses with PPMS. You can get good days and bad but otherwise, progression is slow and inexorable. PPMS tends to occur later in life and RRMS tends to start when younger, but the key is the words “tends to”.
Neurologist is the only person who can tell you but in some areas, GP’s can order MRI’s, thus saving weeks or months if Neuro has already seen head & neck scan when you arrive for your consult. Check with your GP.
