from her GP to include with the PIP form.
Also, she has a legal right to a Care Plan, and carers/helpers can have a Carer’s Assessment. These reports should also be included as social care evidence.

For mobility she can also ask about Access to Work
Hi Jo One of the requirements for PIP is that the problems with either Care or Mobility needs should have lasted for at least 3 months. And be expected to last for at least 9 months more. Your daughter obviously may have only just been diagnosed, but she should make it very clear, if she’s going to make a claim for PIP that the problems have lasted for longer than her diagnosis. If she takes the self test Fay has recommended and thinks that she will be eligible for some PIP, the very best thing to do is to get some help with making a claim, either from the CAB or from another welfare rights adviser. The rules are quite complex and the form isn’t exactly short! So if she doesn’t have any help, she could join https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/ It costs about £20 but is worth it. And there are a couple of things worth mentioning when making a claim for any benefit: Send evidence to back up what you say in the claim, this can be letters from GP, MS nurse, physio, care plan, even photos of equipment Send the claim in recorded delivery Photocopy the entire claim form together with evidence before sending Sue
