Ms or anxiety?

Hello everyone I know you guys are tired of these types of questions but any help would be great. I’ve thought I had MS before but nothing ever came of it recently I’ve been having a feeling of heaviness in my arms and legs mostly legs I went to the eye doctor recently he didn’t see anything and also I have a brain and cervical spine MRI from about a year or two ago and they are both normal besides the fact I have a bunch of bulging discs in my neck which I’ve attributed my neck and shoulder pain to also I attributed the numbness: heaviness feeling that goes down my left arm to that as the MRI of my cervical spine says that the bulging discs are lightly pushing on my nerves. Anyways the symptoms that have been making me nervous is the frequent urination as in 5-6 times an hour I do drink a lot of water. The blurry vision which is mostly more like brain fog that comes and goes and then today I did play basketball for the first time in a while and go for a very long walk came home went to sleep and woke up to aching and twitching of my calf and and ankle on my left side also some aching behind my left arm in my tricep area. so of course I’m a wreck and can’t sleep any more because now I think I Have MS and help from you guys would be much appreciated thanks in advance.

Hello Honorelouis

If you don’t already have them, get referrals to neurology and urology; only a neurologist can confirm whether or not you have something neurological like MS going on; Urology to check what’s going on with your bladder.

In the meantime, your GP should check what your B12, B6 and D levels are, as all of these can produce neurological symptoms if there is too little or too much in your system.

Hi there. A slightly blunt reply from me but, of all the possible reasons for your frequent urination (when you drink a lot!) and your muscle aches and twitching after a long walk and basketball, why have you chosen MS?

If I were you I would be asking my GP about early symptoms of diabetes - especially the drinking and urinating a lot and the blurry vision!

Hey i don’t mind and idk really know I was just hoping honestly to get some reassurance that I was fine but I know now most of what I’m experiencing is my anxiety taking a hold of me so I guess I was hoping people who have Ms could help me snap my delusion but honestly it seems the only way I’ll be able to calm myself down is with another MRI.

GP’s the obvious first port of call but here’s another option: go see your local optometrist about the blurry vision and tell them what’s going on. They really know their job and they have their own fast tracks into the NHS system if they see something they don’t like the look of.

I was making a serious point about needing to drink a lot, urinate a lot, blurry vision and diabetes. If you are experiencing these things then a quick check for diabetes might not go amiss
