How do you 'explain' 'Multiple Sclerosis' to anyone who asks you?

I read on old site a few years ago that they described fatigue with ms as its like everyone else is running on duracell, and they were running on cheap pound sho[p batteries therefore ran down o lot quicker! thought it was a very good description xx

I was just about to go and I ‘read’ your ‘large note’ and I agree with you, 100%. - Thanks! The only probem (with my wife) is that I am not catholic and she is. I’m (obviously) not ‘female’ as well - Trying to explain MS is not just difficult - it’s impossible! - I’ll show her (if I remember) when she comes home - you’re female but are you catholic as well? I’m not wanting to bring ‘the troubles’ over here?

I find most people (my parents) tend to avoid talking about my MS. They seem to get bored or change the subject, because my symptoms change every day. I have actually given up telling them how ill i am most days and just say “im fine” It saves me a headache and frustration.
