Hi everyone
Just sharing this here in case it’s useful to anyone in Leeds who’s living with or affected by chronic illness (or supporting someone who is).
We’re organising a small, really informal free poetry workshop exploring experiences of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other long-term conditions. We’ll read a couple of short poems, have a bit of a chat and write something in response if you feel like it. It’s led by a poet/researcher who’s lived with MS herself, and no previous poetry or writing experience is needed.
Date: Thursday 25 June 2026
Time: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm
Location: The Big Core, Thackray Museum of Medicine (141 Beckett St, Leeds, LS9 7LN)
Cost: Pay As You Wish (Free Tickets Available)
