First time user!

Good morning,

This is my first experience of this website.

MS was diagnosed over 3 years ago, at the time I was an area manager for a food retailer.

Everything was going well at work until I had a relapse in May and since then things have got more and more difficult. I have been given a new role. I have recently started taking REBIF, things seem to be getting better.

Has anybody else had similar experiences with REBIF? Will things continue to improve? Will this be as good as it gets?

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the site

As you have had a relapse in May you may still be recovering from it so try to stay positive. Your symptoms could continue to improve but you have to give it time. It’s a wait and see game i’m afraid.

I have been on Rebif for 7 years and have done pretty well on it so far. I was pretty ill before Rebif and since starting on it i have not had a relapse. I do have some ms symptoms sometimes though.

Rebif is to help reduce relapses in severity and frequency but can take a few weeks to fully ‘get into your system’ . Everyone reacts to the medication differently but this is my experience so far.

My advice to you would be to take things steady as you are still recovering and rest when possible.

If you were diagnosed 3 years ago - can i ask you why you were not put on a DMD (Rebif) before now?

Hope you continue to improve and the Rebif works as well for you as it has for me.

Best wishes

Nice to see that Rebif is helping. Hope you continue to feel better.

HI Mark,

I was diagnosed in December 2010 and have been on REBIF, since April 2011. So far, it has been good for me and has, I believe, helped me to stay in full-time employment.

Regards
