I currently use a single channel ODFS Pace FES device supplied by the NHS for foot drop. Earlier this year I have tried two different FES devices from Bioness and MyGait and found that they improved both the speed and distance I could walk with improved balance. Both of these devices have ‘two channels’, the first helps with foot drop and the second can help with knee extension, knee flexion or hip stability. I was wondering if anyone has obtained a dual channel FES device from the NHS, as my application to the local CCG has so far produced only a request for more information.

I have a dual channel FES but it’s not on the NHS. It’s the same thing as I would have if I was NHS.
