Hi, I had a letter today asking if I wanted to take Fampridine for a month. Just wondering if anyone else is on this, and if they have suffered any side effects. Thanks Mel

There’s been at least two threads on these forums about this medication - and many people have taken/are taking it
Would therefore suggest that you search the forums for this term (‘Fampridine’ or maybe ‘Fampyra’) to see what has been discussed/experienced up to now.

Been on Fampridine ( Fampyra) for six months. I know neuros judge efficacy on walking speed, but it helps many other problems as well. Bladder, fatigue , balance etc all improved. Slight nausea for a few days at the beginning but no other side effects. Doesn’t work for everybody, but try it ! John
