Complete left field diagnosis

That does give me hope. Along with what everyone else is saying as well.
I have a another MRI on Thursday so should have a clearer picture for the next appointment.
Even though its not official as a diagnosis yet I figured improving my diet a bit and starting some supplements along with a bit of yoga can’t do any harm.
This forum has already helped so much so thanks to you all

So I guess this more of an update and also a way to get opinions from people that are in the know!
Saw the neurologist yesterday and he confirmed the diagnosis.
I have active MS. It’s not progressive as far as he can tell so next step is bloods to be 100% sure then he’s starting me on Kisimpta. He didn’t seem too concerned at all and said it should pretty much stop it in its tracks . I can carry on with my weight training and after a course of steroids he seems to think my symptoms should die right down. All positive but it seemed almost too straight forward. Has anyone had this DMT? Would really appreciate any insights.

Well, that’s never nice news to get even when it’s half-expected rather than coming out of the blue.

Your neurologist sounds like a no-nonsense can-do sort of person. That’s what I like – ‘there’s no use messing about so let’s just get on with it’ sort of style.

Getting on an effective DMD (which you are doing) gives you the best chance of staying as well as you can for as long as you can which as I recall is absolutely your priority with your family responsibilities in mind. It sounds like you’ve made a good start on that road. Good luck with it all.
