Acute Activity = MS Nurse Specialist visit.

Hi well that was unexpected. After plodding along for years with MS (PPMS) I WAS taken to hospital 2

months ago with suspected stroke, after they decided to do a full MRI, i got a shock they found NEW LESIONS on my spinal cord, which correlated with some issues i have been dealing with.

Nothing to give me, no point in steroids as rarely works on PPMS and as they said they have no idea how long i had the lesions.

so i was sent home.

Now have an appointment with MS specialist nurse who is coming in a few weeks the heading on appointment was ACUTE ACTIVITY, so assuming she is going to go through options although i was told there wasnt many lol.

What a shock here is me thinking after 25 years assuming it started 2000 with Optical Neuritis i was going to be just mooching along in slow gear, but lately i have a shift in progression. My bladder and bowel are the worse culprits, and fatigue is hard going, but overall in the house (tiny house), or bungalow independant i can walk around with no problems with my rollator.

i have care twice a day. Got a new doglet Blue who i rescued as i lost my last baby Bella who was 17 when she passed, i had her 2 years.

blue is 15. gets me up but wish i could walk him, but i have walker for him. he loves his walk at 15 like a race horse lol.

so well here we go again then. I hope you are all ok, and getting through it as well as you can.

Keep on being positive, keep super healthy, i am still 9 stone. I have a quick mind, and for 73 not doing too bad lol.

big hugs, crazy then ever chick. xxxxxxxx

What can I say, you truly are an inspiration. Whatever you are faced with you deal with courageously and this time again you will deal with what you are faced with and adjust as well you can.
Take care and keep giving us great advice on this site.
Much love

THANK YOU. I woke up about 3 months ago about 9pm didnt know what i was doing or anything pressed my phone number 1 which rings my friend around the corner from me. not sure much what happened then, but went into hospital. 3 days of test they did a full spinal MRI and bingo brand new lesions on my spinal cord t10 and t11. which matched all the stuff i was suffering with.

see her on 27th so will let you know how i get on. things progressing though and i am struggling a bit but got to keep going for blue. i am glad your ok, keep on going hun. big hugs, CC. xxxxxxxxxxxxx
