Hi, I started tecfidera a couple of weeks ago. I have not been feeling to well the last couple of days been sick etc. My temperature is 37.9, has anyone been ill like this before. Did you seek medical advise. Because in case of infection, and the fact that you are using DMD. Thanks for any advise.
Been on it for over 4 years no problems.
Do not think it is Tecfidera , sounds like you have bug.
Sure you will be ok in a couple of days.

I started techfidera last April and still have uncomfortable hot flushes and hives some days. I’ve persevered with it until I see the doc again, but it is worth you calling your ms nurse and asking her. Hope you feel better soon x

Hi Jen, try an aspirin every morning with your Tecfidera I too suffered from bad flushing, itching and welts on my whole body. Initially I took antihistamine, it worked at times.
'I’ve been taking an aspirin for 2 years now and have not had any symptoms since. I’ve been on Tec for 5 years. My doctor and neurologist are in agreement with taking an aspirin . I hope this helps you as I know how awful and embarrassing it is to experience these flushes and itching.
