Hi everyone, I just signed up here today after being diagnosed with MS last week. This week has felt like my world has been turned upside down and I don’t know how to feel about it. Up until a week and a half ago I was a normally active 32yr old guy, then I began to have a numb feeling at my feet which spread up to the waist over the course of three days. I was in Norway at the time working and went to the local A&E who confirmed the MS after a long MRI/lumbar puncture, they then gave me steroids via a drip for three days to fight the imflammation.
I now find myself trawling the internet for cures and symptom relief as I have had the numb feeling for well over a week now. My biggest worry at the moment is regaining the feeling in the lower half of my body. I know these attacks may very well happen again but for now I cant think of anything except getting a normal feeling back. As of now I am waiting to see a specialist for a way forward to fight this as best as possible.
