New symptoms that I’m not sure about!!!
I have been having disabling pain in my back for the last week that sends severe pain to my hips and down my legs. It is difficult to get out of bed or to stand up. I am worried that this is a disc problem and not an MS problem and don’t know what I should do.
Has anyone else had similar problems 
like this please?
Probably best to see your GP , and get it checked out, it could be totally unrelated to MS.
I had severe spinal stenosis with lower back and leg pain . Following XRay MRI’s and a Dexa scans they also found 2 fractured vertebrae and Osteopenia.
I had spinal surgery as the nerves in my back , were in my surgeons words "horribly compressed ".
Unfortunately I also have neuropathic pain all the time in both feet and calves and that is due to MS.
It can be difficult to pin down what is actually causing you pain , but it’s best to try and get to the bottom of it and find some pain relief.
