Mr Mouse

A little more detail might generate some helpful answers.

Has the business in question gone into administration, receivership, liquitation or has it been dissolved?

Mr Mouse,

If you are on low income your entitled to legal aid, hence no payment. You would have to prove you have nothing coming to you and nowt in the bank, then Im sure you will be entitled to legal aid to get your redundancy payment.

Check out with the solicitors who said you can receive redundancy payment and tell them you have no other income, ESA doesnt count. Id do it very soon as legal aid is ending for us lesser mortals. The answer is you shouldnt have to pay monies if youve nowt to give, and your entitled by law to redundancy without hassle.

Do let us know how you get on.

best wishes
