I have been battling the symptoms since February of this year. I have seen countless doctors and am on my second urologist. My symptoms started immediately after having Covid. I got it a UTI and had have had it consistently for the last nine months. I have been on 11 antibiotics. At same time my Trulicity which I take for Diabetes stopped working. My blood sugar went up and I was nauseated and vomiting on occasion for three months before we figured out it was a Trulicity. I have tried numerous medication‘s for for my diabetes that do not work. I had dizzy spells weakness in my legs, muscle cramps, fatigue and various other symptoms. They have checked me for bladder cancer, lupus, Multiple myeloma, and rheumatoid arthritis. I have received two infusions of gamaglobulin to improve my immunity. I am seeing my doctor tomorrow because she wants to do an MRI of my hips legs because of weakness and pain. She thinks it is degeneration of my bones. My walk is unsteady and use a walker at times. My vision is getting worse, also. Do you think it could be MS? I am afraid to mention it to my doctor.
Hello Rosemary and welcome
We’d love to help but we’re not Doctors. Overcome your fear and mention it to your GP. You’ve not mentioned MRI - you’ll need one for an MS diagnosis, so talk to your Doctor who can refer you to a neurologist. Let us know how you get on.
