Calll me fussy but stairs would make it a house…wouldn’t they?, just been perusing bungalows for sale and have seen a 3 storey property advertised as a bungalow?? didn’t even look at dormer bungalows as I do realise they have stairs, but 3 storey bugalow?
Nah, a 3 storey house is certainly no bungalow.
Now our gaff is a bungalow…with a loft conversion!

Yes Poll, I like that -former bungalow, the roof is too low on ours to use the loft! couldn’t quite believe my eyes! I would not mind Wayne keeping all his mess up the loft!
They call them chalet bungalows round these parts. There’s loads of them. Houses in disguise I call them. Then again, if you need a room for the OH to keep all his rubbish in that you never have to look into, it’d be quite handy. I’ve got a spare room in my bungalow that does the job quite nicely. The carpet in there is a bit too deep piled to go into with a wheelchair. So that’s where all his crap lives.

He’s having part of the garage conversion, it’s a user unfriendly tandem garage,long and thin, so it will be halved, keeping single garage, the rest being office and utillity! Already have plans for that, and a fantastic desk/storge…thing (don’t) have a clue what you might call it) took ages to find it, we had seen it in Bo Concept in Cyprus, the manager in Yorkshire, remembered the description and phoned us from Denmark (franchisee meeting) and said, guess what?, I’ve found one of those thingy’s you wanted! it was in a warehouse, item having been discontinued. It fit just fine in the previous house!

They do, but they still have stairs inside and a bathroom upstairs, just means someone in a wheelchair could visit you, they are accessible but not practical to live in.
