I had more Botox injections in my legs last Friday. 6:45 the journey started and got home at 15:30 I saw the specialist for about thirty minutes. I came home and it took two days to recover!

Don, it’s that feeling of hopelessness when you know you have to give in to fatigue. I can lie there for ages in the morning, wide awake without the slightest inclination to get up.
I’m not too bad with the travelling bit but being “treated” in any form leaves me wiped out. I get all nervous about it for at least a day before it happens. Being in the chair most of the time, I don’t really notice myself getting tired. But the district nurse has been round twice to take blood and failed. She got into the vein but my contribution was Scrooge-like.
“Do you ever have a total rest day?” she asked. She explained that I was all run down and tensed up. I’m only making bread and doing other stuff in the kitchen.
I used to dream of a slow pace of life.
Best wishes, Steve.

Hi Don
Lets hope that the Botox works well for you, such a long day, no wonder you were wiped out.
I find travelling has the same effect on me, whereas years ago I took no notice at all, being able to travel for hours and hours, another thing that ms has messed up.
As well as the travelling, I get all strung up with nerves, and that is exhausting in itself, without coping with any treatment…what are we like! Lol
Next month the nurse is going to try to get me using ISC…I am already racked worrying, and it’s not for a few weeks!!
Great blog, thanks, and today here, although we woke to thick mist, once cleared the sun has shone.

Me again Don…I have just read my comments above, and I have made a right pig’s ear of it, sorry.
I have checked the diary and the appointment next month is with a rheumatologist cos the GP says I have imflanatory arthritis and he thinks it is RA, I am waiting for the nurse to give me a date for this ISC, and I have also got to go to the Asthma clinic. It’s no wonder I get confused, to be honest, the last few months has been one thing after another, same as all of us.
Take care, what would I do without my diary lol

Hello Don , I hope that you are feeling better today, its now five days since Friday, lets hope that the botox has done its job. I don’t know much about botox only that the celebrities have had it done and it gives them rubber lips and strange looking faces. Have you got rubber legs now Don ?? The last time i went to see them for urgency bladder issues the doctor suggested botox injections in the bladder…the thought of it makes my eye water…No thanks.
