Hi Deboràh
What an interesting blog, thanks. It sounds like the travel, hotel and all worked really well for you, nice when a plan comes together, makes it so more enjoyable.
Speaking as someone who has never visited Auswich, I can only imagine what a truly emotional experience it would be, also something you would never forget. I, for one really hope and pray that such an atrocity never is allowed to happen again.
Glad you enjoyed your break, I expect you now feel shattered, so rest as much as you can.

Well Deborah, that was both entertaining and informative. I see Ryanair have got their act together. It’s giving me confidence. Once Rose has started school (a year and a half away) I’ll consider going abroad again. I do love our Welsh cottage holidays but I’m starting to be drawn to the continent again. Your account is certainly helping.
We stayed in a Best Western once in Cambridge where I played merry hell with the manager because the ignored my note about no steps etc. The last time I flew Ryanair was quite farcical but it was in 2002.
Thanks for the inspiration, Steve. x
Great blog Deborah, glad your trip worked out well for you
