May be a bit of a daft question, but can you still get tattoo’s when you are on Tysabri? My daughter is looking to get one and she has left messages for the MS nurse, though not yet had any response.
Can anyone advise please?
Best to wait for advise, can she ask her gp if the ms nurse hasn’t responded? I’ve no experience of this drug so cannot pass any comment, sorry.

I have no experience of Tysabri so I’m speaking from Ignorance, however if it’s a DMD like Avonex it adds beta interferons to balance out gamma interferons which are being over produced in your body. Over production of gamma interferons contributes to your spinal cord inflammation which causes relapses by blocking the nerve pathways in your spinal cord as it’s swollen through immune system attacks.
I can’t see how having a tattoo on your skin would conflict with that, assuming you don’t have to inject on that location while it heals.
You could always phone your GP, if the answer is obvious they should know.
I had one done when on Copaxone (earlier this year), if it helps to know?
