Waiting for cervical spine Mri

Hi guys, I’m waiting for an Mri on my neck to give an answer to my illnesses.I have very bad dizziness and a lot of the time walk like I’m drunk having to hold on to furniture etc to get about, the neurologist has found bilateral rotational nystagmus and a positive Rhomberg test but no clonuses or plantars downgowing. I have had tunnel/ loss of vision and when I initially saw my dr I thought it was a reoccurrence of intracranial hypertension which I’ve had from 1986 but this has been ruled out by my neuro. I have bad muscle and joint pain along with random jerks and in January started with terrible eye pain feeling like someone was pulling on them and horrendous neck pain along with what seemed like muscle pain between my ribs from my back right round to under my boob.I asked my GP if she thought it could be Ms as I’ve had two brain ops and have some prominent Virchow-Robin spaces which I know can also be linked to MS. The waiting is making me anxious all I need is a diagnosis and then I know what I’m dealing with and can plan how to look after myself.

@Tliz
Sorry I can’t help answer your questions, I can however sympathise with you & the wait for a diagnosis.
I waited 2 years to be fully diagnosed with RRMS & the not knowing is the worst part.
Only advise I can give you is DON’T be tempted to self diagnose or look up symptoms on google.
Hope you get some answers soon.
