Virtual waiting room refreshments served by Angels

Have you noticed this forum is like a virtual waiting room?.

Sometimes some of us get bored waiting ad wonder if we really should be here pr should go home and not be “seen” then we get advice which makes us realise how serious the silliest/smallest symptom can be.

So we get a few wise words from the " virtual angels" aka the old-timers who sat in these chairs before us and we continue on in our wait.

Thank you angels for your knowledge and your words of comfort ( and a virtual cup of tea and sympathy when required).

I was a tough old bird before all this and I never needed or appreciated the compassion of strangers.

There are so many of you (Angels) that I dont want to name anyone, for fear of missing someone out.

Hear Hear. I don’t know how I would have coped with all this on my own.

You truly are a bunch of angels.

xx

How nicely put. I couldn’t have coped without this site, now I’m diagnosed I hope I can give something back, wouldn’t class myself as an angel though, you haven’t seen my horns!!! Chis

I’m with you on this!

Was here a year ago and have been back on & off a bit since, have been given great advice and reasurrance and amazing knowledge has been thoughtfully shared. Even just reading through the posts can be such a help.

To all of you, thank you.

I think the wealth of knowledge, care and support on this forum is commendable. It’s lovely how everyone rallies round when someone needs a boost.

Guys it’s great news for me that my neuro is adament that I am not suffering from MS, which although I had accepted it as a possibility I am glad that it isnt.

He thinks could be something like lupus thats not shown itself fully yet and I accept that more healing time and patience are required and time will heal…or time will tell.

I am sorry to leave here in that there is so much kindness, support and compassion and that support has been so helpful in this difficult time.

So a big thank you, and to those of you who can’t bear to say a final farewell to me I shall send you my email if you PM me, as I still have a fairly long road to recovery and lots of time to chatter online with you all.

Thanks to the angels I am so very appreciative and wish you all health and happiness.

Gillian xx

You don’t have to have ms to chat here Gillian! So glad you had good news. Chis

No need to leave Gillian, it’s been nice to chat.

You are right - there are some lovely angels on here with a wealth of knowledge. I’d have been lost without everyone on here.

Glad it’s not ms though!

Stay Gillian. Even though it’s turned out not to be ms you still have experienced the limbo we all go through and can help newbies with that. Plus you are nice

Hope you’ll stay Gillian - we all enjoy the chats we have. The more friends we get, the better it is. Teresa xx

Gillian don’t leave you could be a massive support to someone new that needs helps and advice and you’ve been through the whole limbo land thing too so can advise them on what to do etc. It’s an overwhelming support on here for you to stay so that should tell you how much we want you here!

Oh Bless you all what a lovely bunch of people that you all are.

Yes I am trying to rebuild my life in terms of health, strength and whether I work or not but I would miss my friends I’ve made here…The waiting room might be virtual but the friendships that are forged are very real !
