Typical NHS! Panic as the financial year draws to a close. Last attempt at Purchase Orders I can handle (electronic ordering). They have decided to purchase 4 big pieces of 2nd Hand medical devices from a local hospital and have just ok’d it with three days to organise things. This would involve the hire of a Luton Van (one with a tail lift). Have told them about my restritions on my licence before, so imagine their suprise (Ha!) when I cannot go haring off to get the devices with a vehicle this size and getting one with a driver within the hospital seems like a struggle in these last few days leading up to Easter!!!
