I’m due to start on kesimpta in January and for the second and third doses, I will be travelling outside the UK.
There was quite a lot of info about how long you can keep the drug out of a fridge. But I’m wondering about the practicalities. My luggage needs to be minimal (aircraft carry-on style). Will I need a “sharps bin”? Might I pick something up from a local pharmacy? Or use one of these clipper things to deal with the issue?
You could check out a travel cooler for your medication - there are many on the market (not just the one above).
Make sure all your medication is clearly labelled as yours, and have a travel letter from your Doctor confirming the why, when and who the medication is for. Make sure you advise airport security right from the get go about your medication and have your letter/prescriptions/medication ready for inspection.
